Depends where u are. kl you can do without leaving the airport. Just go through customs, walk to departures and fly back. Cambodia insist on 24 hours, Siem reap used to be nice. It you are north you can do border runs with buses. Vientiane is fun. Has a very cool sunset bar on the river. Flights there are super expensive.
It doesn't have a greenbook because there is outstanding finance. I was offered a merc almost brand new for a fraction of cost. Had a photocopy of green book which was enough to get tax, but at anypoint the finance Boys can get it back, and they are very good at their jobs. you can put false plates but changing a Vin number is impossible.
Thank you for pointing that out.... Twice. The 90 day report and extension are done at the same time with the combat school. It is also very amusing hoe you talk to anyone who tries to help in such a condescending way.. I guess when all you do is rehash things that have been said before and are easily available with a search or elsewhere it becomes a little redundant.Toodles.
The main difference is they are not allowing agents to do the paperwork anymore. The hand to hand combat Ed visa employees used to go in the morning and do everything, you just had to turn up when the told you. Now you have to be there in person for all of it
If you catch the early flight you can get to the consulate that morning, however you do need a photocopy of the annoying entry stamp paper, and last time i was there it was a good walk to get to a photocopy shop. Also next day you can collect and make the afternoon flight so only 1 night there
