IN Chiang Mai you can use the 90 day online program or mail it in OR do do it in person OR have someone to do it for you.

I'd say you're not gonna be there all that long (if you have all your stuff needed) to do a 90 day report in person there.

The main difference is they are not allowing agents to do the paperwork anymore. The hand to hand combat Ed visa employees used to go in the morning and do everything, you just had to turn up when the told you. Now you have to be there in person for all of it

Thank you for pointing that out.... Twice. The 90 day report and extension are done at the same time with the combat school. It is also very amusing hoe you talk to anyone who tries to help in such a condescending way.. I guess when all you do is rehash things that have been said before and are easily available with a search or elsewhere it becomes a little redundant.Toodles.

and what does the fact they don't allow agents to push paper up in Chiang Mai for ED visa extensions have to do with how long it takes to do a 90 day report?

That is because the ED Visa only give you 90 days of stay inside Thailand, than you visit Immigration and apply for an Extension of Stay and that you have to do in person. Different things, different regulations.

Waits are depending on how many people like to do it at the same time. You can do 90 days report in Chang Mai by post, maybe some others in post office so waiting for your turn is possible, or do it on-line with no waiting time at all.
