I got the visa based on retirement. So how will I go about converting it to a marriage visa so I can get a work permit? My understanding is that I can’t even volunteer without a work permit.
I’m coming to Thailand next week on a non-O 90 day visa. I’m eligible for marriage and retirement visa; Is there a 3rd option to stay for a year without a border run?
You need to first obtain a non immigrant O visa, 90 days. Then while on that visa you can open a bank account. On the Non-O you’re expected to get the retirement visa.
