we all know who pays the transfers. The strange thing is you don't seem to realise that it's you. And for a man supposedly as successful as you are, you seem to think you are educating us, when in fact you are not.

Jim, seriously take an invoice to immigration, highlighting how much you've spent, the exchange rate and how much you've lost.

Im sure they will pay.

Or you can do like the rest of us and accept the costs of international bank transfers as a negative side to living in a country with a cheaper cost of living.

And chose your timing to transfer that you offset the fees with an improved exchange rate ( like i do) but im not sending , im sending 450,000 whenever I think it's beneficial to me.

Or as my old boss used to say, suck it up buttercup.

people like us recognize that we have to ensure the correct amount hits the bank account, regardless of exchange rates and fees.

have you recently asked for a Non- O balance document?

This only happens when you request it.

I've been yo my main bank branch to raise it as Pathum immigration weren't happy, they tried to create the document without the hold comment, they cant.

This all started recently, the hold isn't an issue for me, the comment on the balance document is an issue for Pathum immigration.

yes, Bangkok Bank.

There is a default document, I think you pay 100 baht.

Be aware though, I held 1,000,000 but Bangkok bank put a hold on 800,00 for 4 months when I first got the 3 month Non-O,

The letter shows 200,000 but a caveat of 800,000 is on hold.

No issues with the account, 100% functionality, app shows 200,000, book shows 1,000,000.

Hold is lifted exactly 4 months later.

Pathum Thani immigration accepted the letter from BBL, but stressed to me to change banks or hold 1,600,000 in, they don't like this on hold comment.

2. Yes out UK, into Thailand with Thai passport. Check in with UK passport as airline staff want yo see a visa, use UK passport for airline. Immigration use Thai passport to exit.

wow, the document i got from Pathum Thani immigration, has a check list on the front ( whole pack is given to you)

On that list is 12 month statement, however in Thai it says from the app is acceptable.
