ORIGINAL POSTERCan anyone confirm to get the 12 months of bank statements from Bangkok Bank and the certification of balance letter do you need your passport/ID AND your passbook when asking in the branch? This is to ask for them not to receive them.
EDIT: It seems both are absolutely necessary. So secondary question, how long after the statements are taken from the bank must they be used for the visa renewal? If the statements are requested on the 1st I aim to renew on the 9th. Should be fine?

I used bank statements i printed from the app in Hua Hin and month or so ago (as well as the letters from Bkk Bank), so it seems to depend which office you use.

U always need your passport and bank book to request for the letter/statements in the bank branch......doing extension the letter/statement can not be more than 7days before and your bank book must be updated to same as application

Jomtien accept bank statements up to 7 days old but the bank letter and the bank book update must be dated the same day as the application is made.

As you Immigration Office how old the bank statement and letter can be for your extension as I would say many would require them to be 7 days or less

I'm told it has to be on the day. You go to the bank, make a transaction, ie put 100 baht in. Confirm that in your deposit book with an entry stamp, get your letter saying you've had 400k/800k for the time period and off you go to immigration and show that you've still got it.

They cant do 12 months bank statements, only 6 months.
Get the 12 months statement from the app.
Its emailed to you in a few minutes.
Also beware Bangkok bank put a hold on 800,000 baht, this upset Pathum Thani immigration although they still issued my visa, but advised me to change banks.

, the bank provides the certified balance letter, yes, 100%. But the bank can only give you 6 months statement, i have no idea why.I just extended for the year retirement with my app printed bank statement with me signing it.
I renewed at Pathum Thani on the 14th of November.

yes, Bangkok Bank.There is a default document, I think you pay 100 baht.
Be aware though, I held 1,000,000 but Bangkok bank put a hold on 800,00 for 4 months when I first got the 3 month Non-O,
The letter shows 200,000 but a caveat of 800,000 is on hold.
No issues with the account, 100% functionality, app shows 200,000, book shows 1,000,000.
Hold is lifted exactly 4 months later.
Pathum Thani immigration accepted the letter from BBL, but stressed to me to change banks or hold 1,600,000 in, they don't like this on hold comment.

have you recently asked for a Non- O balance document?This only happens when you request it.
I've been yo my main bank branch to raise it as Pathum immigration weren't happy, they tried to create the document without the hold comment, they cant.
This all started recently, the hold isn't an issue for me, the comment on the balance document is an issue for Pathum immigration.

wow, the document i got from Pathum Thani immigration, has a check list on the front ( whole pack is given to you)On that list is 12 month statement, however in Thai it says from the app is acceptable.
