Can anyone confirm to get the 12 months of bank statements from Bangkok Bank and the certification of balance letter do you need your passport/ID AND your passbook when asking in the branch? This is to ask for them not to receive them.
EDIT: It seems both are absolutely necessary. So secondary question, how long after the statements are taken from the bank must they be used for the visa renewal? If the statements are requested on the 1st I aim to renew on the 9th. Should be fine?
TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain 12 months of bank statements and a certification of balance letter from Bangkok Bank, you will need to bring both your passport and your bank book (or passbook) when visiting the branch. It is generally advisable to bring ample paperwork when handling banking tasks in Thailand. Regarding the timing for visa renewal, bank statements should be no older than 7 days before submission, and the certification must be obtained on the same day as the renewal application. While some branches may accept statements printed from the app, others adhere strictly to recent documentation.
