this is good advice but just a heads up that if you don't print out your visa, you'll probably be ok if you just show the pdf on your phone. Worked fine for me.
any chance you can reopen my recent DTV post? I'm getting follow up private messages, which I'd rather answer in public so it can help others. I don't mind answering more questions, and I'm happy to close it if/when I want to close it
based on the interviews I've seen with government officials, it seems like they are intentionally making it very easy. I guess we'll see how long it lasts and if it has the desired effect on tourism numbers.
it was a letter addressed to "whom it may concern". My dentist put my passport number on there, and a bunch of detail about the treatments I'm due to have and how it's important that I adhere to the scheduled treatments to ensure the best outcome.
I asked my dentist to put this level of detail on there because I wanted to ensure that I didn't get rejected. But as mentioned above, I've heard that a simple appointment card may be enough to get approved. The extra detail doesn't hurt though!
yeah that's exactly what I did - having another round of Invisalign. And yep, I hear that just a single dental appointment is sufficient to get a DTV, but I didn't want to risk being rejected so I asked my dentist to detail all the appointments I need over the next year or so
