Because my cb account is usd i withdraw to my usd revolut account and wait for a more favourable exchange rate i also transfer between accounts in app to make money but revolut has high fees especially on crypto
Ps if anybody uses cb be aware that the fees are a lot lower if you trade advanced and not on the basic account settings just look for the advanced toggle button
Contact revolut. I kno they have accounts where you can hold multi currencies they do this by having local accounts to the currency you hold for example I have usd gbp jpy thb cny zar sgd hkd so if i want a payment to my usd account i give the acc details for my usd acc which is held in the us etc. Maybe you could do this then if in the future you want to change to thb bank you could just transfer it to a thai bank technically if you transfer from your revolut uk account to your revolut thb account this should be an international transfer because your thb account has a thai address
I asked on here and got some good information, then what I did was ask google AI the steps and requirements to obtain the dtv visa and it gives very good response include the embassy/consulate you will visit if at all you have to visit (laos you do visit to pay the visa fee in person) and wait for d9cument check/approval (apparently you have a short interview before confirmation) Im still waiting so cant say for definite yet I did take a snap while I was there though
PS make sure all docs are in order when you apply and you should get it about 5 days after applying check email daily because they may ask for some other doc i got knocked back because i didnt send my full flight details this was the only request I had for more info so make sure it shows your arrival flight your name flight number etc. and same for the return flight date name flight number
Thats the visa I have just had you apply for the metv do it about two weeks before coming. When its approved that is the day the 6 months starts so this is what you do say the visa is approved on the 10th Sept (expires 8th Mar) but you arrive on the 20th that is your first day 60 days later is the day you have to leave so lets say its a 30 day month you will leave no later than 18th Nov then when you come back lets say you stay over for two days and come back on the 21st this is the first day of your second 60 days and you need to leave sometime during 19th Jan lets say you stay 2 days again and return on the 21st this is the first day of your 3rd 60 days but your visa expires before the 60 days are up after 47 days on the 8th Mar leave on the 5th or 6th come back 7th get another 60 days.
This is what I did thanks to Tod's advice no problems.come back on the 5th, 6th, 7th No later than 8th and you are here until 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th May depending what day you came back. After 6th your are overstay/illegal
Open a firstdirect account you can take money out at atm with no exchange fees just atm fee 250thb which is 6 pound the cheapest i have found is wise who charge about 7 pound and you lose 0.3thb for every pound or 10 pound for every 1000 pound
If you take two withdrawals of 500 each you would pay 12 in atm charge compared to 17 pound with wise after fees and forex charge
