I was questioned in Taipei about my frequent visits into the kingdom and the nature of my stay. I had to emphasise that I was working remotely and not with a Thai company. It look some persuasion but my application was accepted. I don't know how this will work now that Taipei has transitioned to an evisa application.

yes the morning 9am is the main application session with the crowds. I had a tongue lashing - guess the coffee hasn't kicked in. You must have caught them in a good mood just before closing time. 🤣

Great details! You must be a charmer to get a joke and a smile from the staff. They were more gloomy on Monday than the storm clouds outside.

Anonymous participant I added 180 days even tho I only booked a hotel for the first night I was there. The embassy staff did not ask to see my hotel reservation at all.

Think I must have been standing in line with you that Monday with the same staff. It was a workout getting this application in. Am glad yours came through!

You also get to respond in person if the staff requires more documents or an explanation of your situation. I don't know if my recent application in Taipei would have been approved were I not be there to understand and address the issues raised

you still have a few weeks to apply in person in Jakarta. It will otherwise be the evisa process in your home country or elsewhere that doesn't require residency
