has anyone that obtained DTV and with long history of tourist visas in the country, ever been questioned when going through immigration?
Basically just wondered if anyone with DTV has ever been rejected entry in the country.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether those who have obtained a Digital Tourist Visa (DTV) in Thailand have faced immigration questioning after a history of multiple tourist visa entries. Several commenters share their experiences, indicating that while some were questioned previously, most reported smooth entries once they held the DTV, suggesting that initial immigration questioning might be less frequent for those who have shifted to a DTV.
The only reason why I got the DTV was because the Thai immigration started to ask me about what I was doing/how long I was staying each time I entered.
I just counted a total of 42 entries + 1 extension prior to the DTV on my passport in the past 24 months. I enter Thailand approx. once a week/bi-weekly for the past 6 years.
No questions asked regarding my entries during my DTV application in Taipei.
I did see an entire plane of passengers from Indonesia getting questioned at immigration last weekend at DMK, possibly on Visa Exempt.
But when it came to my turn, I showed my DTV and was let through with no questions asked. This is my 2nd entry since getting my DTV 2 weeks ago, both went smoothly.
I was questioned in Taipei about my frequent visits into the kingdom and the nature of my stay. I had to emphasise that I was working remotely and not with a Thai company. It look some persuasion but my application was accepted. I don't know how this will work now that Taipei has transitioned to an evisa application.
Has Taipei already transitioned? I think they will soon, but it hasn't happened yet. I doubt there will be more questions when applying via e-visa...it will be a case of whatever you end up submitting and whether they ask for more documentation.
This shouldn't happen. If they're gonna reject you, it should be before granting the visa.
On the other hand, somebody here said a few days ago that he's been lectured by Immigration for being a "longterm tourist" and he was indirectly told to get a DTV instead, by the Immigration Officer at the airport/land border (can't remember).
