You have missed the bus....banks doesn't allow tourist to opened bank acct anymore since last year those who did it are lucky ether with the help of agent or not...it seems the only route is to apply a non O outside of thailand and come into thailand with that and open a bank acct

30k for a 5yr Elite visa and what happens after 5yrs? The 30k is gone.....I have that 30k siting in a thai bank acct evey year I paid 1900baht for a extension after 5yrs my 30k is still in the acct...seriously I don't really need that fast track service or I can do the 90days reporting myself

You have 90days to use that visa to enter thailand and the visa starts to countdown once u arrived in thailand extensions for non O visa is 1yr

because I had traveled to countries already using arrival card there won't be instant response...maybe 5-10mins after but usually within an hour

who is more stupid? It's says 72hrs or less which means u can do it just before u board the plane to thailand and usually they will give u a reply within an hour why do they need more time to process lol Have u been to any countries that started using arrival cards?

I did the 800k transfers with WISE in 3 transactions with better rate than my local bank swift transfers which offer zero fees but lousy rate....in the end I get 15k/baht extra after paying fees with WISE

yes you can use the non O marriage method with only 400k but it also requires more paper work with both of u and partner present when doing the extension and there will be a 30days of consideration for marriage extension as officers will visit your home that u are staying with your partner I'm not sure how it will affect your travel plans as you said you will be travelling in and out....for the retirement extension(800k) it will be approved on the same day if they are happy with all the documents you provide

If u have the 800k just set your self up for the non O retirement visa intail is 90days and get the yearly extension with a multiple re entry permit u can fly in and out of thailand as u like just have to plan your timing for the yearly extension
