TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing issues submitting their Travel Declaration and Arrival Card (TDAC) for entry into Thailand, specifically for the date of May 18th, 2025. Several comments clarify that the TDAC can only be filled out within a 72-hour window prior to arrival, meaning the earliest submission date would be May 16th. The system is not accepting submissions for dates outside this range, and it is noted that the TDAC system will go live on April 28th, 2025. Suggestions are made regarding the efficiency of filling out such forms at the airport to minimize confusion.

I do apologise for causing some people high blood pressure ,I will endeavor to ensure this never happened again simply scroll past as I will in future ,again thank you for your helpful remarks

They should make it where you can fill those in right at the airport when you arrive It takes all the confusion out of it. Several countries do that and then that's also your visa so you just feel that one thing out and you get your free 60-day Visa at the same time and they should make it free that way people don't get scammed on the internet.

They have also said you can complete it at the airport on arrival. Just adds time for your entry

I fail to understand why so many people are having a problem understanding this. It's far more straightforward than booking a flight to Thailand.

some asking if they can fill it in 5 weeks early. . Despite the site clearly saying 3 days maximum before day of arrival.

This subject is bonkers!

Fill in the TDAC up to 72 hrs before arrival. I believe it goes live on 28th April. It takes 5 mins to fill in and you get an instant response. Simple.

If you don’t understand this then you shouldn’t leave the house never mind the country.
Ian *********
It doesn’t go live until 28th April

Too early

The ability to fill out the online TDAC form will start on April 28th.

As far as I know the confirmation email is an instant response email, nobody physical will cross check or examine.

From that date on the TDAC system will accept your form submission, as long as your arrival date is May 1st and beyond, but not earlier than 72 hours from your intended arrival

Makes me wonder how some people get as far as booking a flight if they can't understand simple written instructions.

Similar requirement to Singapore, you can submit it when boarding your flight

Some people like to argue that within 3 days doesn't mean up to 3 days before arriving. So here goes again. . "The TDAC can be submitted online within a three-day window preceding the travel date/arriving". Hope that helps.

Are you blind? It clearly says you can do it max 72h prior travel date

Countries typically allow arrival card submission within 3 days of arrival to ensure the information provided remains current and accurate. This is particularly important for health declarations and other details that might change shortly before travel.

This is a very common practice for many countries for years.

Thanks for all your answers, it looks stupid to me the Thai government want you to fill the tdac in 3 day before to give them time to process it ,why can't you do it a week before to give them more time surly that would make sense.
Graham ******
@Simon ******
It's auto-approved if the information is correct which does not take days ;)

@Simon ******
I'm sure they will change JUST for you!!!!! Maybe best not to come if you think the Thai government is stupid.
Jesper *******
@Simon ******
who is more stupid? It's says 72hrs or less which means u can do it just before u board the plane to thailand and usually they will give u a reply within an hour why do they need more time to process lol Have u been to any countries that started using arrival cards?
Nongnuch ********
@Jesper ******
isn't it an instant response email? What makes you think it will be "within one hour" ?
Jesper *******
@Nongnuch *******
because I had traveled to countries already using arrival card there won't be instant response...maybe 5-10mins after but usually within an hour
Nongnuch ********
@Jesper ******
ah, okay, good to know

@Simon ******
You get an instant response. Time is not a factor. You can wait until you've arrived in Thailand if you like.
John *******
Read the instructions?

72 to 0 hrs of entry I believe and not before 72 hour
Anna *********
No cos it’s too early
Stuart *********
You can only do it up to 3 days prior to arrival. So for you the earliest would be 16th.
