Mine is a nonO 1yr extensions stamp and bring both passports to immigration office ....they transfer the valid extensions stamp and multiple re entry permit onto the new passport and they also have a special stamp that states your old passport number being transfered to the current passport
You apply for 90days nonO retirement visa outside of thailand using overseas funds once u arrive in thailand open a thai bank acct and transfer the funds from overseas into the thai bank acct and there after apply for your 1yr extension (funds need to be seasoned for 2mths before u can apply for extension)
You are not supposed to leave that country that u apply BUT many had done so and get away with it.....just imagine if you might get a last minute interview or extra documents of passport pages and they found out u are not longer there and u can kiss goodbye to your application fees
from reports usually 2-3weeks once approved u have 90days to travel to thailand and once in thailand u will be stamped 90days to stay in thailand while u have slightly less den a month to open bank acct and bankin your 800k because the funds need to be seasoned for 2mths before applying for your 1yr extension
E-visa at thai embassy in your home country apply for nonO 90days retirement visa once in thailand get a long term lease bankin 800k into thai acct get ready for 1yr extension and in the mean time shop for local insurance
If u need to travel in and out for more than 4times during your 90days den u get a multiple re entry permit ....or else get a single re entry permit will do....most ppl apply for multiple re entry permit only after they get thier 1yr extension
