Can I apply for the Destination visa for 6 months, then renew it for 6 more months while in Thailand? Then I can I leave the country, and apply again outside and re-enter? Can I then apply for a Thailand Non-O Retirement Visa while on the Destination Visa?
My DTV visa expires mid-January. I would most probably like to extend my stay in Bangkok. Life is so nice here. Does that mean that I am going to get taxed in Thailand? And if yes, what are they going to tax exactly? And how could they ever check on my income? Some is here, some is there… I suppose I would have to find myself a local accountant?
Hi. I'm confused. I'm on a 1-year retirement extension issued INSIDE Thailand. Is this called Non-immigrant "O-A", or is it simply Non-immigrant "O"? (The stamp in my passport only says "Non-Imm", no letters.) Thanks for any advice!
Now I have heard from various people that there’s no use to make any extensions for kids under 15 years old because they dont get fine for overstay. Have anyone had the experience before?
May I ask a question regarding tourist visas. Friend coming from the Maldives, as I understand they get visa-exempt and can come for 15 days no visa required. However if they want to stay longer can they still apply for a single use tourist visa? Many thanks
