TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has returned to Bangkok with a non-immigrant visa from the UK and is inquiring about obtaining a multiple re-entry permit. They ask if a residency certificate is needed along with the TM8 form and photos. Comments indicate that it's unconventional to request a re-entry permit within the first 90 days, with suggestions to wait until the one-year extension application. Some users advise that one might apply at the airport or during the application for a longer extension.

It's a bit unusual to get a re-entry permit during your 90 days. You're planning on leaving Thailand and returning within those 90 days?

Most people wait until they apply for the 1-year extension to apply for the re-entry permit, so it's actually valid for a full year.

Also it can be a long trip and a long wait if your immigration office is Chaeng Watthana. It might be better to get it at the airport on your way out.
