I emailed the consulate in Hong Kong and they confirmed that I can apply there, as a Swedish citizen.

It clearly says "in your country" in your screenshot.

Everything is still unclear. Is the financial statement only for the initial visa application or does ir have to be maintained in a thai account for 5 years?

What kind of portfolio is accepted for freelancers?

Is it possible to apply in a country that isn't your home country?

I'm also heading to Nepal later this year. You can take a plane ride and see the Himalayas from the sky for like 8000 baht, from Kathmandu 🥳

do it on a computer. The thai government have no clue how to build or maintain websites, so half of them don't work on phones or chrome or mac
Steve *******
Have they clarified if the 500k only has to be there when applying or is the same "keep it in your account" bs as with retirement visas?

sounds great. Which branch did you get it at?

how is it pre-paid if it's a one year contract? Isn't what you have a post-paid contract?

Get a sim from true or dtac, head over to the AIS store and ask to transfer your phone number to them. Then ask the store what pre-paid package you can get. You'll get 20GB, 5G for 300 baht a month, as a thank you for changing to AIS.

You're welcome.
