Has anyone found a visa service that helps with DTV extension in Chiang Mai? I used The Colonel for help with a residency permit but they don't help with the DTV extensions. After what I have read about trouble getting extensions at CM IO, I've decided to just use CM Border run service as they have been very good the 2 times I've used them and the process was predictable! If a visa service is available that can do it reliably and drama free that would be a good option. Thanks! :)
I wish to apply for the Thai LTR visa in a few months and would like to engage a highly trustworthy Immigration Law firm in Bangkok. I have two questions - please share your experience/insights:
1) Does it help an applicant in any manner to meet and apply directly with the BOI representatives, versus going through an agent/law firm (other than saving $$)?
2) Which intermediary do you recommend to secure my visa - Harvey Law Group vs Siam Legal vs Baan Thai vs Fragomen - or any other name you think to suggest? A secondary criteria for making my choice is that they should be able to assist with obtaining Medical Insurance and guide in future relocation matters.
Heya, so i'm living in Chiang Mai on a DTV visa (originally from UK) but i'm staying in short term rentals and hopefully will be travelling around a bit
Does anyone have experience easily acquiring a proof of residence and/or know of any services that make acquiring a motorbike license a breeze
I would appreciate anyone sharing their experience working with the THAI VISA CENTER to obtain a non-o visa. I am presently in Thailand on my 30 day tourist extension. I do not want to fly all the way back to my home country (USA), but would be happy to fly to any S.E. Asia location that has a Thai embassy that will allow me to apply for a non-o. Thank you for any thoughts you care to share.
Hello, This group has been very helpful regarding retirement visas. Has anyone used the THAI VISA CENTRE - visa agent? What is your thoughts and experience? I would kindly appreciate any feedback.
