If you're coming back on a visa exemption stamp, then no. If you're applying for a visa, you will need to stay longer.

If you want to hire someone, you need a company.

no, I've checked in to a hotel and gone straight to immigration when I was new here. No issues

then you need a tm30. Check into a hotel the day before you go for the extension and use that address for your tm30 👌

How long are you staying? If you're staying less than 90 days and don't need to deal with immigration before you leave (like when getting a extension), just forget about TM30.
