Hi everyone.

I'm considering applying for a DTV for a workation as a business owner and have a few questions:

1. I haven't booked my flight tickets yet. Can I provide the flight number I'm planning to book, or do you require confirmed tickets? Is it acceptable if I end up booking a different flight later?

2. I intend to stay for over 100 days. My plan is to book a hotel for the first 5 days and then arrange alternative accommodation for the remainder of my stay. Is it okay to only provide information for the initial hotel? Additionally, since I don't have a hotel reservation yet, is that a necessary requirement?

Thank you!

Answer summary

The user seeks guidance on applying for a DTV visa as a business owner, specifically about flight booking requirements and accommodation details for a stay exceeding 100 days. Commenters provide insights suggesting that while some may only need to provide a planned flight number, it is advisable to secure a hotel with free cancellation for initial bookings, since confirmed reservations may not be mandated.

1. I think it's only retirement visa at you just write down your flight without booking but unsure.

2. You can book a hotel that's have free cancelation, so when you get DTV you can cancel that stay.
