I am on a multi entry 60 visa, I am from the Untied States. I did the initial 30 extension, that cost 5,500 baht using a service. Been here 90 days on the September 1st, so I need to leave the country and come back to start the next 60 days. They said it cost another 5,500 baht for the van to Cambodia and back. Is this the normal rate- I’m in Pattaya, this is my first time here.

-for a border run with such a service, you still bring backpack and luggage with key items with you “just in case,” correct?

Do hope this is allowed, I recently arrived in Thailand with a pre-approved visa in my passport, however they stamped an exemption stamp rather than my 60 day stamp.

Embassy says I should do a Cambodian border run and come back on my visa as it hasn't been used yet.

Any recommendations on fees or most convenient way to do this?

Also I am looking for work opportunities while here, what is the process in future to go from tourist to work visa?

Hi guys it is my first post on here .and im uk based.

I have made a right mess of my booking and visa and looking for some good advice . I am looking to stay in thailand for 90days commencing 1st nov through to 24th jan 2023 .

I have already rebooked my flight from 10 oct to the 31st to give me more time to sort a visa out . I may stay longer in thailand and go to cambodia as i will be staying in sisaket so not far too travel .

What visa am i looking for ? Can i get one that will simply cover the 90 days or can i get the 45 days and then 30 days extension then leave to cambodia and start again ? . I was in thailand in 2017 for 3 weeks and loved it. This time i am looking for a good 3 - 6 months visit .cheers Alex

Can someone please help me with the following hypothetical scenario

60 day TR visa, then a visit to the immigration office to fill out TM.7 for an extension of another 30 days. That gives a total of 90 days in Thailand

But here's the question, what if I go to Cambodia for 30 days and then return to Thailand? Will I then have another 30 days in Thailand?
