bringing literally everything you did to apply for the visa you got approved for, is ridiculous. You can defend their routines if you want, it doesn't change the fact that it's a silly requirement, when you literally just fly in and out and get the same extension without the paperwork.

no, they make it difficult for no reason other than to push you towards border bounces to pad their visitor stats

because the extension requires a ridiculous amount of paperwork and flying to Kuala Lumpur for a weekend getaway is just a better choice.

The limit is 5 years from the date the visa is processed. You can enter anytime during that period.

You can get Revolut or a similar e-wallets and create a digital card to use.

No Thai embassy accepts offline applications anymore. All visas you apply for are now e-visas.

You need to book flight to apply for a visa to any country.

But just book a fully refundable one if you want to be sure. You don't even have to use that ticket or fly on that date once your visa is approved anyway.
