mine does - 3 month non-b for employment.

If I don’t get the re-entry permit it’s closed and I need a new visa.

I acknowledge it might be different for the longer visa.

on non-b you just leave without getting a re-entry permit and that visa is over.

yeah your work permit is meaningless if you’re not on the correct visa.

So leave, get dtv, come back - cancel work permit.

I wrote a fairly comprehensive letter explaining to them exactly what the business does and my role in it and why I’m able to work remotely.

Hypothetically - if one was currently in Thailand but going to the Uk in 2 weeks…. And one was to start the online application before leaving Thailand….
