Its a rule that they are starting to enforce now. Its always been there. But now its being engorced. If you leave thailand and comeback you have to report, even if you move house etc... aswell.

Ahh, yes. Different rules for different offices. I forgot about that. Its a shame immigration offices cant all follow or do the same thing.

Im also sure you can extend that 90 days at immigration and get an extra 60 days, then do a border run, come back and get 90 days then extend again at immigration.
