How many times can we do visa exempt entry into Thailand by sea way per year? Is it limited to 2 times like land border crossing?

You can enter Thailand visa exempt by sea up to two times per calendar year. This is the same limit as for land border crossings.

TWO 30 day visa exempt entries per year (Jan 1 - Dec 31) by land and yes a sea entry is considered entering by land, so two.

Correct, if you arrive by boat, raft or swimming you go on land and visit the first Immigration Office in that town and as that Immigration Office is not on an International Airport it is called a land border entry in Thailand.
