Quick question about the Thai bank deposit requirement for Non O guardian Visa's 1yr extension: Does the transfer into my Thai bank account have to show that it's from overseas (ie being an international transfer and not a domestic transfer) and from my own bank account from overseas (ie must be from myself, not a relative or friend)?
I initially thought any transfer should be fine as long as I have the required amount deposited in my Thai bank account for the required length of time. Now I'm second guessing myself after reading on a FB group that some people had to show it's an international transfer from their own home account under their name.
Just a quick question- my child is on non-ed visa for secondary school, I’m on a non-o guardian visa, spouse is on a non-o retirement visa obtained in Thailand (not an o-a or o-x); how long can I be outside of Thailand without putting my visa (non-o guardian) at risk?
Does anybody know Thailand immigration open for 90 days report for student visa and non-o student guardian visa? I heard earlier, immigration only accepted for 3-4 days before 90 days expired.
Hi all, we came into Thailand in January, extended visa once til March, then just stayed over deadline on visa amnesty, kids on Hong Kong passport and parent on US passport. Now our kids are accepted to an international school in Phuket. Does anyone know if we can get the kids onto an educational visa without leaving the country? Because if leave now, can't get back in
My daughter and I are on a 90-day visa, ed and guardian. Based on the advice from this website and others, I am going to try to file for the extension without an agent. My husband and I prepared the paperwork for the 90-day ourselves. Just to double check, besides a new letter from my school, what other paperwork is different? Second question, can I apply for the multiple entry visa at the same time as I apply for the extension. Thank you.
Any knowledge please on whether or not a joint account with spouse is an acceptable proof of funds for the non-O guardian visa when applying for a 1 year extention on Samui.
Much appreciation in advance for the consistent sound advice. :)
