With a non-immigrant O 90 days visa (for apply to the Thai wife visa after the second month), is it possible to get a multi-entry if need to leave the country for a few days during this 90 days period... Any clue? Thanks
So I have a Non-O EOS till next March, but would like to change to DTV sooner than that. Reasons are apparent ease of application for dependant spouse (Cambodian) and due to the nature of her job, the Cambodian gov don't want her to have a long-term Thai Visa. Cambodia calls the DTV a special tourist visa.
I own and run a property business in the UK remotely, though it requires several trips back per year.
Do I need to do anything with the Non-O in Thailand before applying for DTV in Cambodia (inform, cancel etc)? I have a multi-entry permit.
I have asked this before I think but I really need someone who is familiar with visas. I am an American and I was able to get a retirement O 90 day visa with a multi exit feature. I was hoping to see if I took a trip out of Thailand that I could get another 90 days on the visA. What if I get an extension to 1 year?
Can someone confirm this for me? I understand that with a multi-entry permit in my passport, I can come and go from Thailand at wll AND that my 90 report time restarts each time i return to Thailand? (I have a non-O immigrant visa based on retirement - the one year extension). Thanks!
Info request - Visa non O retirement (NO MARRIAGE)
I enter Thailand with a Non-O visa (90 days) from Switzerland and during those days I would like to apply for the 1 year non-O retirement with multi-entry without having to have additional insurance. What does it mean that with this visa - Non-O - every 90 days I have to leave Thailand? I ask this because before the pandemic I had an O-A visa and insurance and there I knew I didn't have to go out every 90 days. This makes me confused - as many say the rules have changed and you no longer have to go out every 90 days on a Non-O visa.
Visa application in Phuket town.
I trust your experience and thank you in advance for your kind reply.
Hello everyone. My inquiry is about the requirements and process for the 1 year extension of stay application (based on retirement). I hold a US passport and am currently in Bangkok on a 90 day non-o Visa based on retirement. The stamp was obtained on 9-Nov-2021 (from CW), and expires 6-Feb-2022. I obtained the 90 day non-o Visa stamp using the banked funds method (e.g., 800,000 baht transferred from my US bank account into my Bangkok Bank account on 21-Oct-2021), and completed the TM30 using my current Bangkok address. I also now have a new 1 year lease agreement beginning 15-Jan-2022 for a condo (at a new address) in Bangkok. In addition, I would like to apply for my multi-entry permit at the same time I apply you my 1 year extension of stay.
What I want to better understand are next steps and preparation, and what can I expect when going to CW to apply for my 1 year extension of stay (i.e., when should I apply, what do I need to have in hand; is there a waiting period, etc.). Thank you in advance.
