Hello Friends😊

Just a quick question about something I'm still confused. Do I need to renew my TM30 report everytime when I leave Thailand after my 180 days on a DTV Visa.

I live at the same place so the adress and everything will be the same.

Also if I need to do it can I do it myself or is this the landlords job?

Thank you so much and have a great weekend!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you leave Thailand on a DTV Visa, you are required to have your TM30 report updated by your landlord, even if your address remains the same. The TM30 is a reporting requirement designed to keep Thai Immigration informed about your residence status. While officially necessary, the enforcement of this requirement may vary depending on local immigration policy.

Realistically if you have to plans to visit an immigration office, don't even worry about it. No-one else is every going to request it. It's an administrative tool used by immigration and is the responsibility of the landlord

that's nice to say, BUT it's the responsibility of the Thai Visa holder to file a 90 day report whenever in Thailand for 90 days...

AND a new TM30 address registration needs to be filed with your local Thai Immigration office each time you enter Thailand.

By not doing it, you are in violation of your Thai Visa.

Thanks! Yes I’ll have to go to immigration soon for my first 90 day report ever. So I don’t need to bring the TM30 printed out? Only passport port and the TM47 is enough?

If you're going to immigration you will need TM30

You do not need to, it is your landlord that has to do the TM30 by law.

If you been away, you probably have been registered at some other adress where you wont be any longer when returning ā€œhomeā€

The Thai Immigration has to know, where you are, at any time you are inside Thailand.

Is tm30 something you do online? I never heard of it. I just got my DTV they didn’t really send anything else of what I needed

Anonieme deelnemer 467 I guess you also did not hear about TM47 90 days reporting?

It is the obligation of the landlord to do it.

TM30 needs to be updated when changing of residence or when leaving and back to Thailand. It has to be done by your landlord.
