Hello , I'm swiss and divorced but we live together near surin , the past 2 years I used a agent to do my visa based on my daughter . I don't want to use the agent again as they have terrible costumer service. My yearly visa will expire next Tuesday. Can I do a a visa run to chom Chong,,osmach and get a 30 days tourist visa ? Then after that can I go to savanaketh for a visa based on visiting my child ? Or do I need a new passport?

Hi there. I'm doing a border bounce at the Aranyaprathet (Thailand) / Poi Pet (Cambodia) border. I've already entered Cambodia (with a visa) and I'm staying in Poi Pet tonight. Will I be allowed to re-enter Thailand tomorrow at the same border? If so, will I need to pay 'extra', and how much might that be? If not, can anyone tell me how long I need to wait before re-entering, or alternatively recommend a better border to enter on? Thanks.

Just a quick summary of my border bounce yesterday at the Chong Chom border, OK after a 5 hr drive from Saraburi arrived and parked the car in one of 2 car parks on the left Hand side right before the border crossing , walked to the immigration exit and spoke to the officer about me returning straight back in after stamping out he spoke to my finance who was with me and he said should be no problem, so we both exited and walked over to the cambodian entrance and I filled out the form paid 2000 bhat had photo taken and had the sticker placed in , went across the other side in front of the casino resort to the exit got stamped out , this all took 30 minutes , then went inside the casino complex has a milk tea with the Mrs then bought some duty-free rum 😀, went to the Thai entrance filled out the form forgot the Name of it the immigration guy looked at me and said to me I just spent 2000 baht for 2 hrs and then said how much will I pay him for 30 days laughing while he said it, he explained to my Mrs don't bother going to Saraburi immigration to do the tm30 and he gave her the on-line url to do it , so after being stressed because of all other things going on this turned out to quite pleasant except the 12 hrs of travelling 8 of it driving.

Any experiences with crossing Chong Chom border? How is immigation there?

Hi, anyone actually has crossed lately the Chong Chom border to Cambodia by car? What are the regulations to travel with a Thai car to Cambodia?

I'm in Buriram area.

I entered on 30 day waiver.

I will extend shortly another 30 days.

Then as previously suggested by Tod do the exit and re enter with a 45 days waiver stamp.

Never done this before.

Always had longer time visas.

Any clues as to doing it from Buriram?

What options are there?

If I leave by land do I get a 45 days stamp waiver in re entry.

Where is the nearest border point to buriram?

(I know I get stopped several times driving to pattata and checked, because it is close to the border)

This appeared on a Not Everything Else site and typically there was a single response before commenting was closed. The comment was that it was unconfirmed, but, as nobody seems to have tried actually contacting Troy Bakes, I did. He is stuck in Cambodia but I suspect his problems lie elsewhere than reentry being blocked due to time spent in Cambodia.

I have just got back from Chong Chom and I can assure everyone that there is no problem with the standard visa run for the purposres of a valid visa - mine a multiple O based on marriage. In and out in less than 20 minutes. Temperature checks on both sides and a squirt of free gel on the way back into Thailand.

New restrictions coming in from tomorrow for entry into Cambodia mind. Not confirmed as yet .... probably ;-)

Ok for a friend looking for an answer, he will flying into seim rep now the visa is a full page even if you fly in if im correct, he only has 2 pages left in passport then he will enter thailand though chong chom border will the one page be ok? then he will be ordering a new passport...cheers

just a quick one has the Chong Chom started asking for 20k when just doing a border run...cheers
