Which airport is less likely for re entry headaches in your experience BKK or DMK
Answer summary
The discussion revolves around which airport in Bangkok, Suvarnabhumi (BKK) or Don Mueang (DMK), is less problematic for re-entry into Thailand. Opinions vary, with some users favoring DMK due to shorter wait times and perceived fewer scrutiny levels, while others assert both airports are manageable if proper documentation is in order. A consensus seems to exist that many issues stem more from visa history than from the airport itself.

Bkk it really comes down to the immigration office
I’ve been in the country for a very long time. I’ve had many types of Visa and I’ve never had any issues.
I love the stupidity of this page. Oh by the way can I get a poll going to find out what coloured underpants people are wearing if they pass though immigration with no problems. Thanks in advance
Not specific to DTVs, but historically, DMK has been considered the worst airport to fly into for those with questionable entry histories as they've often been known for the greatest scrutiny, but this has equalised more with other airports under the more recent stricter scrutiny overall by immigration in general at all airports.
Anonymous participant 777in bkk is a lot more scrutiny. When I fly into DMK I was in and out in under 2 minutes. I flew in at 0700 and nobody was even in line. I plan on doing this same routine until proven otherwise
