PTPA. Hello everyone, maybe someone can help me here. I worked here in the Thai Oil project (cfp) in a subcontractor Korean company under UJV,

UJV withdrew the project because it did not pay wages.

Now that I have been hired by a new company, our problem now is that the work permit of my previous company cannot be canceled because there is no one authorised to sign the clearance, the two managing directors have both resigned. our company already has a case with the Thai labor office. Does anyone here know what other way to cancel my work permit even if there is no clearance from the previous company?

Thank you very much. I hope someone can help me here.

Good day everyone. I am currently working in Thailand as an English teacher. I have a non-B visa and a work permit. My contract with my school ends in March and I am currently looking at other schools to work at and apply to. Could anybody please tell me if my work permit will be canceled and if I would need to leave the country in order to get a new one, or if I'm being paranoid.

'Foreigners with work-permit, now allowed to work with anything, from anywhere.' [members only]/

Is this true? Surely not.

Sooooo this whole thing with having a work permit and being able to do any job any place....Sounds too simple. My work permit is for Diving but now can I do another job even if its not diving? My lawyer tells me I need to pay him 6000 baht to include another profession...But with this new law wouldnt that be irrelevant? Not that I don't believe my lawyer but yea... I feel like hes leaving something out or i just dont understand lol
