Good day everyone. I am currently working in Thailand as an English teacher. I have a non-B visa and a work permit. My contract with my school ends in March and I am currently looking at other schools to work at and apply to. Could anybody please tell me if my work permit will be canceled and if I would need to leave the country in order to get a new one, or if I'm being paranoid.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is an English teacher in Thailand with a non-B visa and a work permit, currently seeking information on whether their work permit will be canceled after their contract ends in March, and if they need to leave the country to obtain a new work permit for a new job.
I called immigration this morning they said i must come in so they can see my passport ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ but that still doesn't answer what needs to be done or rather the best approach to the situation. ๐
So I was previously hired directly by my school however an agency will be taking over. The agency offered me a contract and said they believe that I will be able to keep the same visa and work permit. I am double checking.
