Hello all. I’m I correct to understand that I can go from Canada (origin) to Thailand for 90 days with an extended tourist visa… then go to, let’s say the Philippines for a week. Can I then go back to Thailand for another 60days plus 30 days extended?
I have my DTV visa since 1 April 2025. I travelled to Ho Chi Minh on 30 April 2025, and returned to Bangkok on 3 May 2025. The immigration officer never enquired about my DTV visa and it only took one minute to obtain my 180-day stamp.
Spent 179 days of my first DTV entry my history of entry is : in 2024 I only spent maybe 10 days out of Thailand and I’m here since May 2023 on TR ED TR ED again
So I would be the best person to be questioned by the immigration despite having the visa ( all the fear mongering post I see here)after all on my first exit on ED visa I got a interview in Thai so why not again
So what did I do?
Left from DMK to Kuala Lumpur, arrive at midnight and take the first flight back. So my Thai exit is 19 entry in Malaysia 20 exit 20 and entry Thailand 20
No question asked, stamp stamp check all good
Round two in October, just be nice smile and do what they ask it’s not rocket science
Hello everyone, after staying 180 days what are the conditions when you fly back to Thai? Do they charge any income tax since I just approved by remote job?
I will have to do my 1st (90 days) renewal of my DTV visa.
1- What documents do I need to provide?
2- Has any of you ever left Thailand with the DTV visa before 180 days (or before the extension)?
If so, could you explain to me if you had to do a particular procedure and if when you returned your visa was 180 days again (without doing the actual extension)...
Thank you very much for your help

Bonjour, pourriez vous me renseigner svp ?
I know there is much of the same questions being answered over and over again about the 90-day reporting but I have searched and the results are irrelevant to my question.
First reporting must be in person. Got that. The second can be done online. Got that.
But lets say I leave Thailand for 3 days after I have done my first online reporting.
I understand that the clock resets and all that.
But, when I have re-entered Thailand, bare in mind I have already done one 90-day reporting online before my departure, can I do the next 90-day reporting online or does the clock reset in a way so that now I have to do the 90-day reporting in person yet again because it is my first 90-day reporting AFTER coming back to Thailand?
I.e does the clock reset so the first 90-day reprting after leaving Thailand must ALWAYS be in person and THEN you can do online again?
I don't understand the reason why they send a tourist out of the border, and then return shortly after, just to have a stamp (free of charge by the way) in the passport... they could have given it to me at the immigration office...!
Currently on the last (extra-13-15th month) 90 days entry until 8 Feb 2025 of a one-year Multiple Entry Non-Imm 'O' visa obtained from Savannakhet .
Had to apply for a new passport as existing passport with above stamp expires in June 2025 (less than 6 months validity to use it for an entry after 8 Feb 2025 and not enough pages left). Received new passport today.
Do I need to go to my local Immigration office to transfer the entry stamp to 8 Feb 2025 to my new passport, or can I just exit Thailand with both old and new passports on or around 8 Feb 2025? Also, I would hope to be returning a few days later. Will I again need both passports, or just the new one?
I am usa citizen on visa exempt. I left , for Vietnam 9/25 and plan to return 10/1 for another 60 day visa exempt. My landlord filed TM 30 good until 2/25. When I return do I need to go to immigration to update the TM30?
