DTV time period stay

Greetings 

I acquired my DTV back in November and still didnt come to Thailand due to work etc.

I recall the stay is 180 days continuous 

But what my question is 

is it 180 days per year only?

Or 180 days exit for a month and re enter another new 180 days?

Or can you do 180 days + visit Thai immigration and you’ll get another 180 days on top accumulating to a continuous 360 days?

You can stay a maximum of 180 day until you are required to do a boarder run and come back in country. Once back in you receive another 180 .. rinse and repeat for 5 years

180 day stamp per entry, maximum time in country with extension is 360 days, thereafter you must leave and return for a new entry stamp. Extensions aren't recommended so most people leave after 180 days, rinse and repeat. There is no minimum or maximum time to stay out of the country before you re-enter.

Every single time you enter until the expiration date on the visa, you'll receive a 180 day entry stamp.

Most people leave and return after 180 days to get a new stamp, and that's also what immigration normally suggests. They are not friendly to doing DTV extensions and you'll find it difficult if not impossible to do so.

Just exit before your 180 days are up the on re-entry you get another 180 days.no need to stay out for month.
