Which embassy near Thailand is best get DTV via Soft power? I need it to be done quickly, ideally within a few days rather than in France where it takes weeks & I can’t wait that long.

I'm in Laos now submitted under workcation on Friday same day additional docs requested. Interview email last night for Tuesday coming, fly out Wednesday 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Do you know if for Paris I need to be in the country while it’s processed? I got all documents required and at this point I am thinking of traveling abroad in Asia while waiting for DTV approval. But I wonder if it’s fine to travel abroad while applying in Paris embassyAndi ***********

You need to be in Paris, you can be asked for an interview as well as provide copies of all your passport pages. If you going to travel to Asia, get it done there. You can travel around a country while the DTv is processedAndi ***********

Thanks for your replies. If Paris gives me the DTV without asking for passport pages/interview and they don’t know I am outside of the country, would I get a problem once I reach thailand with DTV once they see (with passport stamps history) I was actually in other country while getting issued the DTV?Andi ***********

Used to be like that, and occasionally is, but it not the norm. Someone just posted approval from Manila No interview and actual approval time 6 working days. You may want to look there if you want approval ASAPAndi ***********
