Hi all. I would like to ask if anyone has done a recent visa application for single 90 days at Savannakhet based on Thai child. Are the documents in the consulate website still the same requirements? Birth cert, photos, ta bian baan of kid + mother, ID card copy of mother

Haven't heard anything about savanaket and married to Thai . any updates,last I heard they supposedly asking for financial,but haven't anything since.

Is savanahket in Laos the only place to get 1yr multi entry family visa without proof of finances ? I am sure I read on this site there was another embassy in a neighbouring country that also did this but cannot find it on the search function.

Admin delete if not relevant: I'm an Australian male currently on an non immigrant O visa extension (based on marriage) where I report to immigration every 90 days for the report. My questions are

Am I able to change over to the visa at Savannakhet, Laos?

2. Does Savannakhet still issue visas without the need to meet the financial requirements?

Hi all. I have entered and re-entered Thailand via Air over the past 7 or so months using visa exemption stamps and 30-day extensions. However, I noticed upon my most recent entry that the immigration officer started to ask more questions than usual, so I suspect my luck is running out using this method.

Next time I plan to leave the country and apply for an actual 60-day tourist visa to ensure I'm granted entry. What is the most cost efficient and easiest way to do this? I've heard good things about the overnight sleep train to laos there and back. Is it recommended?

(note- I'm aware I could just fly to another country but I'm exploring other land based options)

Hello all , had a friend ask if possible to get a non-o (marry) visa multi entry in savannahket without proof of funds being a Russian citizen.

The person asked 5 visa companies and they said he needed to show money because of the nationality ... Any thoughts ?

My current marriage visa runs out on the 28th of February, and I no longer have 400k in my bank account. Is it still possible to get a marriage visa based on income per month? Further does it need to be a 40k+ a month international bank coded deposit in to my Thai bank account or can it be any amount per month, but over 400k+ per year? I live in Korat, if that helps from immigration to immigration office.

Hi, I was on covid extensions for the duration, about 2 years. Lost my passport and had to apply for a new one via VFS Bangkok. Result is I have been on overstay for two months. My new passport should arrive any day now. The plan was to go to Savannakhet and get a visa but I have been advised that I may have a problem paying the overstay fine at the land border. Would it be best to exit at Suvhannabumi to Vietnam, stay a week and return?

Looking for advice. Going to Savannaket on Monday for a Thai visa. We are being driven from Korat, but the driver will not go into Laos. My question is should he drop us at Mukhada Bus station or can we get a taxi from the border crossing?
