Good day,

I’m looking at going to Savvanhkhet next month to get another multiple Non O visa due to marriage.

I haven’t been in a many years. Are the requirements still the same?

If someone has a list of documents needed please forward to me so I can prepare.

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirements for obtaining a Non-O visa due to marriage have changed significantly with the introduction of the eVisa system. Currently, Savannakhet no longer issues multiple entry Non-O visas; only single entry visas are available. To apply for a one-year extension of stay, applicants must have a minimum deposit of 400,000 THB in a Thai bank account in their name, maintained for at least two months.

there is no other way around than depositing a minimum of 400.000 Thai baht in a Thai bank account in your sole name, if you want to apply for the next 1-year Extension of the Stay Permit

Ok.

Thanks for all the information.

They need to go back to multiple entry for e visa again. That’s what I used to do.

What Are the requirements for applying for extension at the immigration in Bangkok?

they don't issue any more multi entry 365-days multi entry married to a Thai wife Non-Imm-O visa in Savannakhet, since they switched to the E-visa system. Even if you had the slightest chance to still get it, it will come with the requirement of a 400.000 THB deposit on your Thai bank account. But I think this option is burned

I don’t have an overview, but at least they introduced the financial requirement of 400K baht seasoned for two months during last spring for Non O visa based on marriage. And you only get single entry as an e-visa as Graham states.

They’ve all changed to the evisa system which means you don’t go to the consulate to get the visa (although for Savannakhet you do go to pay). Multiple entry Non O is no longer an option.

You will be disappointed as they no longer do it with the recent introduction of the eVisa system
