Looking for advice from someone with firsthand experience: do I need to show 400,000 THB in funds for the Non-O marriage single-entry visa when applying in Vientiane or Savannakhet? I have a Thai bank account with some funds (less than 400,000 THB), and when I applied through an agent everything went smoothly. My question is whether an agent is actually required, or if it’s not mandatory in this case.

Additionally, I would like to know the visa processing times in Vientiane and Savannakhet if I apply without an agent. Will I get the visa in 1-2 days same like with the agent? Thanks

Well due to a very odd temporary closing of the provincial consulate in Canada I cannot get my non-b teaching visa before I come back to Thailand on July 2nd.

I was on a non-o but I did not get a re entry.

If I come to BKK on a 30-day exempt, where should I look at going to get my non-b? Is Vientiane still the best option with the new changes?
