Hello group,

I hope to get some advice from you here. My daughter will be studying in Bangkok for a year. University starts on August 13th, and we are arriving in Bangkok in mid-July for a vacation. We live in Holland and have a tourist visa valid for two months.

My question is:

Should we apply for an Education Visa for our daughter before entering Thailand?

Or is it better to enter Thailand on a tourist visa and apply for the Education Visa later while we are in Thailand?

Thank you in advance

You need to speak to the place she will study at. She can't apply for an ED visa without paperwork from the school

The school will supply the documentation needed, do you have that yet?
