Hey, I need your help please. I would like to start of next year March for approx. 1 year to Thailand to visit several schools for Muay Thai aka Thai Soft Power. I've been trying to reach the consulate for 14 days. By phone and mail. But no chance. What kind of visa should I apply? DTV? And when should I apply for it? Thank you very much for your help. Best regards

DTV? Und wann soll ich es beantragen? Vielen lieben Dank für eure Hilfe. Liebe Grüße

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on the appropriate visa to apply for in order to stay in Thailand for about a year starting in March to study Muay Thai. The consensus from comments suggests that a DTV visa (presumably a long-term education visa) is suitable, but it's essential to have proof of enrollment in an accredited Muay Thai school in Thailand. Applicants are advised to secure documents from the school prior to applying, and note that the DTV visa application can take up to 14-16 days.

You need to look for a muay thai gym where you want to stay that is accredited by the thai sports authority and are allowed to give you documents that prove you have enrolled on a course and it is accredited. These documents are then used for you application through your home country or country you are currently staying (cannot be inside thailand to apply for a DTV) through the thai e visa online system. The Visa can take up to 14-16 days.

Oder ein Muay Tahi Lernen Visum, die Schule mit Dir aber ein Teilnahme vor Beantragung bestätigen

Yes DTV would be the best for you.

You apply for it wherever you are. Its e visa but they will want sone sort of proof of where you are
