I’m currently in the process of applying for the Thailand DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) for myself, my wife, and my son.
I live and work in Malaysia on a Category 1 Employment Pass, and my employer allows remote work. All required documents from my employer will be provided, and I meet the DTV eligibility requirements.
However, I have never visited Thailand before and I don’t have a strong travel history. I’m a Pakistani national.
My question is: Does previous travel history (or not having visited Thailand before) affect DTV approval?
Would really appreciate insights from anyone with similar experience. Thanks in advance! 🙏
How many days should my duration of stay be? Intended date of departure means the day i will leave thailand again right?
I want to go for 6 months directly. I’m not sure if i will get the dtv. What ticket should i get ? I dont want to waste my ticket. Also my accommodation. Is it necessary to get a paid accomodation or pay at the property from booking.com works? How many days accomodation do i need to show here?
Also it says if u dont get multiple, the difference is not refundable. So will i have to pay the whole dtv visa fee for single entry??
P.S if anyone has gotten dtv from pakistan, i would love to know your experience and how you got the visa. I’m applying as a freelancer workcation
So I am a Pakistani, working in China. From Feb 8th to 18th I planning to visit Thailand. I booked the hotels and flights, prepared all the necessary documents and applied for visa on 19th of Jan. Next day, they requested me some documents and I uploaded those documents on 21st Jan. Its been so many days and I am still waiting for my visa approval. Did anyone else gone through the same experience? My travel date is just few days away now and no response from them is stressing me out! I have sent them email but got no response.

Hi, has anyone recently applied for Non-B from Thai Royal Embassy in Kuala Lumpur? If so, could you share your experience and what documents were requested? Is it the same as website or anything extra or less? Thanks in advance.
EDIT : Also, does anyone (Pakistan specifically or National of the countries listed as restricted by Thai consulates) have experience applying non-b at Laos or Cambodia? Thanks and much appreciated. I tried browsing Thailand Laos website and it has all information in Thai despite me selecting English tab in the top.
