How can I obtain a corrected visa for my daughter before our flight to Thailand on 12 October?
I received visas for myself, my spouse, and our two children two weeks ago. However, there was a spelling mistake in my 4-year-old daughter’s name on her visa. Therefore, I reapplied for her visa last Monday with the correct spelling. Chances are the error can be corrected at Immigration. As long as the passport details are correct. In what way was the name mispelt. Both first name and family name? Phoyos match?

Should have plenty of time to get replacement. What Country are You coming from? Worst case she can enter under visa exempt program. If you stay longercthan 30 days and still don't get the visa its still OK as minors are not fined for overstay.

Steven L. Daugherty Another idea if you can't obtain a clear answer is to call the airline CS counter at your outbound airport. There must be someone there with experience on the matter that can explain whether the visa with misspelling is usable if the replacement visa isn't issued in time.

If it’s not they can fix when you enter, this happened with my husband.

SensibleTangerine4579 we flew from Australia and can only say how our experience was. I can only presume it would be the same for you. But yes when my husband went through Thai Immigration at the airport they pulled him aside as his visa had been processed but the spelling was incorrect they put a V instead of a Y.

SensibleTangerine4579 yes we were still able to enter. It took about 10-15 mins for them to fix it and then were sent on our way through.
