For those who’ve applied for workcation recently, could I ask a quick question about the supporting documents?
Did you include a cover letter, a portfolio letter, and a financial letter, or is that too much? Are all three necessary, or is there anything else I should include to be safe?
Also, for the 500K financial proof, is it okay to submit both a bank statement and a screenshot showing the balance from my mobile banking app? Just want to make sure that combination is acceptable.
Hi all, just looking for some clarification on the Thai E-Visa website. I'm applying for the Non-O Visa based on marriage at the Thai Consulate in Savannakhet. I am currently in Thailand.
On the E-Visa website on step 4, "Supporting Documents", it asks for "Document indicating current location".
Would this be where I upload the Laos Visa once I enter Laos? Or would this be my current Thai location, such as my TM.30?
Hi! Im a business owner and the dtv visa office is asking for this:
Please provide details about your current work, including (1) your CV or portfolio, and (2) examples of your work, along with any supporting materials that demonstrate your experience and qualifications
I’m confused what is the exact examples of my work and supporting materials they need. I sell products in amazon.
* Other request documents: Please upload a copy of the business registration (in English or accompanied by an official English translation) in the case of self-employed persons/sole proprietors. The document must include the applicant’s personal details.
I have no business registration because I work as a freelancer. Previously, I attached a contract with my long-term client and screenshots from my Upwork account, as well as previous jobs completed. What can I do now?
I’ve started filling out my application but haven’t submitted it yet.
Just two quick questions regarding the requirements:
3. Document indicating current location
Has anyone used an *immigration* *entry stamp* as proof of current location? (This is what I’m planning to use.)
I know some people use a hotel booking confirmation letter, but my company booked a hotel for me in the UK under the company name & details, not mine, so I won’t be able to use that.
4. Financial evidence: Amount no less than 500,000 THB (e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter)
Most of my funds are in crypto, and I recently converted some to GBP around £12,000 and transferred it to my main bank account.
My question is: when submitting 3 months of bank statements, will it be a problem that the required amount only started showing in the last few days?
I plan to submit my P60 or a few payslips from my company as well (if there’s an option to upload more than 5 supporting documents).
*Which leads to another question: is there an option to submit more than 5 documents under the supporting documents section?*
Preparing to apply for followers on my DTV (hopefully) in Ottawa. Any experience about what document to use for proof of children’s location? Since they don’t have drivers location, etc
If you own your online business what did you submit for the "Employment contract or employment certificate in their country or professional portfolio showcasing digital nomad, remote worker, foreign talent or freelancer status" ?
Hello everyone! I'm about to submit my application and I want to have your opinion regarding if I provided everything in term of supporting document:
1) Hotel confirmation of 2 weeks in Taiwan.
2) Bank Statement that shows a balance over 500k THB. (my concern is that the 500k are recently added, since I moved money from my investment account).
3) A screenshot of my Upwork profile that also shows that I made more than 50k USD.
And I will submit the application when I arrive in Taiwan in a little bit more than two weeks. Am I ready to go? Thank you everyone :)
Is it possible to apply for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) without a registered business? I work as a freelancer and, due to being below the taxation minimum bracket in my home country, I’m not legally required to register a business.
I can provide the following supporting documentation:
• A portfolio showcasing my work.
• A client list with active contracts.
• Bank statements demonstrating regular income from clients.
Would this be sufficient for a successful application? I plan to apply in Ho Chi Minh City.
