Question on transferring Non-O spouse (1 year extension) from my old passport to my new passport. I will be getting my new passport in my home country then re-entering Thailand.
What am I supposed to do at the immigration counter at DMK?
Answer summary
To transfer your Non-O spouse visa from your old passport to your new one upon re-entering Thailand, follow these steps: 1. Obtain a re-entry permit before leaving Thailand if you intend to exit temporarily. 2. When returning, present both your old and new passports at the DMK immigration counter. They will stamp you in based on your old passport until its visa extension expires and make a note of your entry with the new passport. 3. After entry, visit the immigration office where you got your original extension, either at One Bangkok or Chaengwattana, to transfer the extension and re-entry stamps into your new passport. Also, ensure to file the Thailand Digital Arrival Card with the new passport number.

Don't forget before you leave to get a re-entry permit :)
When you come back you present BOTH passports when you stamp in. they will stamp you in until the extension in your old passport expires and make a note you entered on a new passport.
Then you go to your immigration office with both passports and get the extension/re-entry stamps transferred into the new passport
Also when you file the TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) do it with the new passport number as that is the one you will be stamping in to thailand on
