Submitted the required documents for DTV category workcation on the19th February.
I applied using UK property portfolio management.
I received requests for multiple additional documents several times over the space of 6 weeks.
These included the company I work for in the UAE, NOC, TL and a letter from myself. This was to confirm that I was allowed to work in Thailand to carry out my actively managed property portfolio.
Anyway, on the morning of the 26th March I again received which was to be the final additional document request. This was for a screenshot from my UAE banking app showing my current balance. In the afternoon, I received the evisa by email.
This was a long-time of back and forth, worrying if I would get or not.
Very glad to finally receive the DTV the very best of luck to all in your applications.
Hi all, I’m from and currently in the uk, the company I work for no longer allow remote working so my DTV plans for 2026 have crashed.
However, I have 2 other sources of income from property in the UK, the properties are in my name, not a business name, therefore the rental income comes into my personal bank account.
Any ideas if this specific type of earning and income would qualify for a DTV?
DTV Visa Approved with London Embassy for a Landlord
I own 2 properties in the UK which I rent out, both owned in my personal name (not a limited company). When researching, I found there were some limited company landlords that had success with writing a letter signed on behalf of the limited company confirming ability to work remotely but obviously I could not do this. However, I use a letting agent to manage the properties and asked them to provide a letter explaining that I was able to carry out all of my duties as a landlord remotely (as I have done in the past). I also supplied a copy of the management contract between me and the letting agent, the tenancy agreements, 3 months rental statements from the letting agent and 3 months bank statements showing the rent coming in, along with all of the other standard application requirements.
This group has been a great help to me, thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences. I hope this helps someone else in a similar position!
Hi guys. What additional documents do they want to see for the DTV?
They state: "Please provide details about your current work, including (1) your CV or portfolio, and (2) examples of your work, along with any supporting materials that demonstrate your experience and qualifications."
I am confused: I already provided a letter mentioning that I am a business owner/property manager and manage an airbnb in NYC. I provided the listing and a proof of income for 2024 & YTD 2025. I also provided the documents of my LLC.
I am applying as a remote worker, I am a director of a LTD Property Co in the uk and I organise maintenance and other issues (remotely)and run two properties on Airbnb app for the company , instructing cleaners etc. I do not draw an income from the company. My income comes from rental property and one Airbnb held in my private name. I can meet income requirements.
Any advice on what documents/ proof I should submit. I am applying from the UK. Thanks for your help. R
Is it possible for the DTV to show that you rent properties in France? That and a military pension being my income. I would have control of the properties, rental, maintenance etc but remotely manage it from Thailand. Many thanks in advance
Need some advice. I bought a condo in my home country and earn money through rents. i earn approx 15'000 USD per month. It's not really a work. is the DTV still the right visa for me ? I can't really prove an employement contract as i don't work. I work for maintaning my condo, doing the accounts ect..
Afternoon all. I have been living in Thailand now for two years and I have been funding my stay with money I make from two properties I rent out in England.
I do not have a limited company. I have agents in the UK that take care of the properties for me. I do my annual tax return through the UK gov website.
My question is, would I be eligible for the DTV visa still?
The properties both provide a good wage to live off in Thailand and I have savings well over 500,000 baht.
Anyone else applied who is in similar position to myself?
I’m guessing I could ask my agents to provide evidence of the properties I own and the rent etc?
