Is income from renting out own property alone enough to qualify for remote work DTV? (with savings more than 500k of course). Has anyone been approved for remote work DTV based on rental income alone? Please advise and share your experiences. Thank you. 🙏🌸

Depends if you are actively managing or passively collecting rent and how you present and explain it, backed up with documentation of the actual tasks, how you manage remotely, proof of income, tax returns, possibly ownership, etc

Then the idea of setting up a company to manage the property is a much better one.

NO, IF you do some research you will find out that only rental income is not enough to show you are allowed to work remote for company.

Simply collecting rental isnt (or shouldnt maybe better said) be enough as it is not working. The requirement is working online not only having passive income.

However if managing those properties was a job, so you had online tasks to do for it, you could make that look like it is active. People have managed this.

They can also get an LLC to rent your property under and that would be considered remote work.

not cheaply with the property inside, but would a Property Management company, with no property, management only suffice...?

People I know who have done it have basically created a job role out of it. Managing the properties remotely, approving maintenance etc. They go approved.
