So I have a rental property that I manage remotely. Basically it's one property and I am the landlord. Is that sufficient to get a DTV Visa? Thank you

Hi all

I’m hoping to apply for a DTV

I tick all the criteria

One area I’m concerned about is the digital aspect

I self manage a property portfolio via wattsap etc

Would this be permissible?

TIA

Hi guys. What additional documents do they want to see for the DTV?

They state: "Please provide details about your current work, including (1) your CV or portfolio, and (2) examples of your work, along with any supporting materials that demonstrate your experience and qualifications."

I am confused: I already provided a letter mentioning that I am a business owner/property manager and manage an airbnb in NYC. I provided the listing and a proof of income for 2024 & YTD 2025. I also provided the documents of my LLC.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

Good morning.

I am applying as a remote worker, I am a director of a LTD Property Co in the uk and I organise maintenance and other issues (remotely)and run two properties on Airbnb app for the company , instructing cleaners etc. I do not draw an income from the company. My income comes from rental property and one Airbnb held in my private name. I can meet income requirements.

Any advice on what documents/ proof I should submit. I am applying from the UK. Thanks for your help. R

Is it possible for the DTV to show that you rent properties in France? That and a military pension being my income. I would have control of the properties, rental, maintenance etc but remotely manage it from Thailand. Many thanks in advance

Afternoon all. I have been living in Thailand now for two years and I have been funding my stay with money I make from two properties I rent out in England.

I do not have a limited company. I have agents in the UK that take care of the properties for me. I do my annual tax return through the UK gov website.

My question is, would I be eligible for the DTV visa still?

The properties both provide a good wage to live off in Thailand and I have savings well over 500,000 baht.

Anyone else applied who is in similar position to myself?

I’m guessing I could ask my agents to provide evidence of the properties I own and the rent etc?

2 DTV questions

* I own some property in the U.S. that I rent out and manage (pay bills, arrange for maintenance) from Thailand. I have lease contracts from tenants I could show to demonstrate the income. It seems a stretch to call that income employment, What do you all think? Would I qualify for a digital nomad visa?

* I am age 66 and retired. Is there an unstated upper age limit for DTV? I plan to stay for 4 months this time. I want to set up a bank account, but don't want to put 800K baht in a bank in Thailand.

Thanks

For anybody not aware. They have changed the URL for online TM30 reporting from today. You also need to re-register if you want to use it.
