Do they cut the corner of my old passport immediately when I apply for a UK passport renewal at VFS Bangkok?
Maybe wrong place, I apologise if so, but when you apply for a UK passport renewal from VFS Bangkok do they cut the corner as you apply, or after you receive the new one, I have visas for other country's that I need for work purposes in my current passport but I'm running very short on pages.
Answer summary
When applying for a UK passport renewal at VFS Bangkok, the corner of your old passport is cut off after you receive the new one. You will need to provide copies of every page of your old passport when submitting your application, and you can still use your old passport with visas until it's clipped. Once your new passport is ready, you return to VFS to hand over your old passport, which will then be clipped.

or fly back to uk and get done in 4 hours . ( see website)Ralph *******
Formally you submit it with your application. They cut the corner off then return it to you. So, you still have all your visas.
