What is the NA17 form for foreigners in Vietnam, and how can I obtain it?

they didnt accept. you need the NA17 frkm the first day in your homestay. i am still in HCMC from 28.08. the embassy want 5 year plan and the NA17 from the FIRST day you arrived. Your homestay MUST registrate you at the police, if not they must pay a lot of money. The homestay will told you, that you must go to police ststion but this is wrong.Dont accept this.

I have the same problem. The apartment provider is giving all kinds of excuses (the system was down, he couldn’t do the registration, it’s not possible to register retroactively…). Went to the ward police but they couldn’t do anything about it if the apartment owner didn’t register. I just hope the embassy accepts the explanation of the situation as this requirement can’t be provided. Seems that some apartment providers are not very professional but this can’t be the cause for a visa rejection?

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

Iv had the same it’s so easy! Literally ask the reception they send off the app it’s back within the hour had mine about 3 hour after asking

NA17 — это официальная вьетнамская форма регистрации по месту временного проживания (Temporary Residence Registration) для иностранцев во Вьетнаме.

​При подаче документов на визы (например, на тайскую DTV-визу во время пребывания во Вьетнаме) этот документ служит для посольства подтверждением вашего легального нахождения в стране.

​Назначение: Официальный документ, подтверждающий место вашего проживания (отель, гестхаус или апартаменты) во Вьетнаме.

​Где получить: На ресепшене отеля или у хозяина жилья (Airbnb). По закону Вьетнама они обязаны регистрировать иностранных гостей в районной полиции (Ward Police). Нужно просто попросить у них распечатку регистрации (NA17).

​Как выглядит: Бланк или распечатка из электронной системы с вашими паспортными данными, адресом жилья, датами пребывания и отметкой (или штампом) полиции.

​Альтернатива: Письменное подтверждение о проживании (Residence Confirmation), выданное ближайшим отделением районной полиции (Ward Police Office).

В русс, сообществе спросиие, давно такие справки регистрации сделали во вьетнаме. Лучше чтоб контракт на месяц был. Нужен контракт, оплаченная онлацн бронь. Если Хозяева ленятся

I had the same message on mine. I stayed at an apartment for two months recently , and they never filed a Na17. They never heard of it!
