Why was my workation visa application to Vietnam rejected without a reason?
My nightmare story:
Hanoi workation rejected no given reason.
27/8 - saw the news on the visa thats applying from the 31
28/8 - took and immediate flight to hanoi as i didnt want to go back to france and handle those expenses
28/8 - applied on the same day to my workation visa - i have my own business setup in Wyoming - and over 1M baht - i think my application was very formal and detailed with every file i could find and add.
1/9 - asked for extra documents- they wanted full bank statements with proof of money getting in , and proof i can work from aboard
I added everything with all my shopify store receipts - marked and shown on my bank account statements
All LLC papers i have - bank paper showing my name under the bank account and literally everything possible
Website, business instagram photos and as I work with factories in china so i also added photos from the factory - photos of my costumers receipts with addresses as 100% of my costumers are in the US
3/9 - changed to pending approval.
10/9 - rejected no given reason.
Honestly - now waiting on a flight to go back to my home in chiang mai hoping to get a tourist visa without any issue. feeling like im some kind of a criminal.
The fact there is no given reason is just atrocious, felt my application was very much on point.

You’re hoping to get a visa exemption not a tourist visa. If you want a tourist visa you need to apply at a Thai embassy via the evisa website.

Sorry to hear that. Just a guess is embassies might be just rejecting so they can pass off the responsibility elsewhere. Not risking approvals with no criminal record check.
