How can I transfer my DTV stamp to a new passport while traveling in Thailand?

Hi guys! I have a DTV stamp in my current passport, but I’m renewing my passport and apparently my country won’t reissue the new passport with the DTV stamp.

Does anyone know if there’s a way to continue using my DTV to travel in and out of Thailand? For example, can I take my old passport to an immigration office and ask them to transfer the DTV to a paper document or provide some kind of confirmation that I can carry with my new passport?

Has anyone dealt with this before? Thank you.

Is it because you think your country is able to affix the DTV stamp in your new passport?

How or why would they have a Thai DTV stamp in their stamp collection?

Do you somehow think that each country has a collection of every single stamp of all the other countries of the world?

I'm confused. The DTV is issued electronically to you and you can print it out by yourself.

When you enter Thailand again you'll get a new stamp in your new passport but you have to carry the old one as your DTV is tied to the old passport number.

Or do you renew the passport via the embassy within Thailand? If so, you have to carry both passports anyways.

You will have to go to the immigration so they will transfer the stamp from the old to the new.

You travel with both passports to use your DTV unless the Embassy that issued your DTV will re-issue it with your new passport details but this is unlikely. At some point go to Immigration to get your current entry stamp transferred to your new passport and re-do your TM30 too.

When your new passport arrives take your old one & new one to immigration and they will put your current stamps in your new passport
