I’m trying to get my head around all of the different types of visas available and which one would best suit me? In all of the discussions, on this forum, I haven’t read anything about the Thai Elite Visa.
Qualification appears quite simple?
Or, am I missing something?

I work remotely for an Australian company and I am currently in Australia, on a working holiday visa, looking to apply for the remote worker DTV.
My visa ends soon but I will continue to work remotely. I will have the relevant employment documents and payslips/bank statements etc, but do you think there will be any issues as I am not originally from Australia? I'm not sure whether to apply from here or go elsewhere to apply (maybe Vietnam).
I want to apply for the DTV visa for Thailand (l saving this September) I have all the qualifications and except the REASON. I am not a digital remote worker.
I have enrolled in a 2 week yoga intensive. I have contacted a few places where I am going but they either only want cash on arrival so no ability to present a receipt of payment for enrollment before applying for the visa from Canada.
One cooking school said “someone applied from here for their visa through our school” and this school offers one day - all day courses but….one day?!
The language schools I contacted want me to enroll of 2 months for 1000$.
Two extremes.
Has anyone found a happy medium for a place on KPG that will take payment from Canada in order to justify a long stay?
If I am getting royalties that pay for my living does that qualify as a work DTV? I file taxes under a sole proprietorship but could show the monthly deposits from the companies that pay me.
Just wondering, I fortunately (or unfortunately) already have the Medical soft power DTV as I need to go to thailand for a lot of medical care anyway.
I know the retirement VISA says you have to be 50. Is there an age exception for retired US military members? I looked around but wasn’t able to find anything.
